Véronique Barrotteaux, who holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, is a Risk Specialist Division Manager in the Division of Operational Risk at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Previously, she was a Vice President and Senior Research Analyst with Newedge USA, LLC. She is responsible for producing research on a broad range of markets, and she has close to two decades of experience in commodity futures and options markets. She is a frequent lecturer on commodity risk management, options and technical analysis.
Her lecturing experience includes the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the CMT Association, Bloomberg and various industry conferences around the world. Her research paper on Japanese Clouds was published in the CMT Association’s Journal of Technical Analysis in 2008. Ms. Barrotteaux is a board member of the International Federation of Technical Analysts, a former board member of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts, and a member of the Market Technicians’ Association. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Management from Ecole de Management de Lyon, France. She is bilingual in English and French.
