Tony Welch, who holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, is an Investment Analyst at SignatureFD. Previously, he was an ETF Strategist at NDR, where he directed the NDR Advisory services, which aim to deliver solutions unique to the challenges faced by independent investment advisors. Tony is also responsible for creating and maintaining models, charts, indicators, and tools that relate to exchange traded products.

Prior to joining NDRG, Tony worked at Sarasota Capital Strategies in Sarasota, FL, where he helped create technical indicators, developed seasonal trading models, and provided commentary on exchange traded funds. Tony began his career at Ned Davis Research as the personal analyst for Ned Davis, the firm’s Senior Investment Strategist. After that, Tony worked with Tim Hayes, the firm’s Chief Global Investment Strategist to develop the NDR Emerging Market Strategy. In that role, Tony focused on broad emerging market trends, asset allocation, and market/sector selection.

Tony is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. In addition to his CMT, he is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals.
