Dr. Steve Moffit is the President and Founder of Market Pattern Research Inc, a consulting group conducting analytical, practical research on financial markets, and an adjunct professor at San Jose State University. His current projects include: (1) the development and deployment of mechanical trading systems in equities and futures, (2) applying data mining, statistical learning and machine learning to finance and retail problems and (3) publications to disseminate information in emerging areas of quantitative finance.
