Steven Goldstein is a Behavioural Performance Coach at AlphaRCubed who works with traders, investment professionals and portfolio managers, helping them to achieve more effective and productive risk performance. His one-to-one work with risk professionals has led to significant and sustained performance improvements. His clients include leading Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset and Investment Management Firms, Energy Producers and Commodity Trading businesses based in every major global financial center.

His work in this area is informed by more 20 years working as a trader inside firms such as Credit Suisse and Commerzbank in London, and almost 10 years working as a coach with risk professionals. Steven’s approach and methodology is influenced by the field of Gestalt Psychology, which he applies to help people uncover their unconscious and hidden patterns when working in the highly uncertain environments of financial markets. His work also draws heavily on his experiences as a trader, and knowledge attained through having been an avid student of the behavioural and psychological aspects of trading, both from a markets perspective and a human performance perspective.

For the past 5 years Steven has lectured on Behavioural Finance for the Society of Technical Analyst’s Diploma programme. He has a ‘Practitioners Diploma in Executive Coaching’ from the highly respected ‘Academy of Executive Coaching’, is a qualified ‘Gestalt Practitioner in Organisations’ awarded by the European Association of Gestalt Therapists, and has an Executive MBA from Cass Business School in London.
