Stella Osoba, Esq., CMT

Stella Osoba is an attorney, writer and independent trader who graduated from the University of Warwick in England.  She is admitted to the Bar of England & Wales as well as the State Bars of California and New York.  Ms. Osoba left the legal field to pursue her trading and writing career. She has gained the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation.

She coaches individual traders and investors and develops courses in technical analysis, trading and self-development. Ms. Osoba’s non-fiction works includes articles on behavioral finance, trading and technical analysis.  Her writing has appeared in publications including Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities and The Journal of Technical Analysis.  In addition, her writing can be seen on sites such as GOBankingRates.com and TradersAdvantage.com.  Ms. Osoba has worked with Wiley, the educational publishers, to help develop material for their online CMT Test Bank.  For several years, she was a grader for the CMT Level III exam.  Ms Osoba’s fiction writing includes contributions to the anthologies “The River that Went to the Sky” (Kingfisher) and Beloved Harlem (Broadway Books).  Ms. Osoba is a founding member and currently co-chair of Women in Technical Analysis, a chapter of the CMT Association designed to increase opportunities for women to network and form meaningful contacts in the finance industry.
