Nicholas Khan-Roper (Chartered FCSI) is a Chief Investment Officer & Head of Wealth Management at a Family Office based in Dubai. He is well versed in traditional asset-allocation but with a focus on price and technical analysis. Additionally, he specializes in blockchain and advanced technology as well as property finance; including acquisition, sale, and development within the super-prime London & New York markets.

Nicholas advocates implementing ‘Adaptive’ Asset Allocation, utilizing advanced price and trend analysis exclusively applied by Chartered Market Technicians (CMT® Charterholders) when constructing portfolios at various stages of the business cycles. He runs an asset allocation model similar to the endowments of Yale and Harvard. This incorporates both passive/illiquid investments such as real estate and venture capital and active/liquid investments such as bonds, equities, and alternatives such as listed PE/RE and bitcoin. His areas of expertise include, Venture Capital, Real Estate Development, Fund selection and alternatives.

Nicholas holds an economics-based degree, two charters, two diplomas, and 15 advanced specialist certificates from universities such as Yale and Columbia. Qualifications in FinTech, Digital Banking, and Blockchain from Insead, Copenhagen and Wharton School of Business. He is currently pursuing his CMT Charter.
