Michael Burque, who holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation, is a Customer Risk Management Merchant at Cargill, where he trades Futures and Options in the Agricultural Markets. His background includes managing sell side risk for producers across different time horizons, managing risk on the buy side for large commercial end users, merchandising grain into crush plants and river assets for Cargill, as well as over 12 years of option trading experience across both the futures and equity markets.

Michael earned his MBA from the University of St. Thomas and undergraduate degree from Iowa State University where he has also returned as a guest speaker to Global Resource Systems and Economics undergraduate classes.
