Mark Putrino is a Director of Arialytics, where he leads business development. Mark brings two decades of buy-side trading experience to Arialytics. Prior to joining, he established Bullshead Trading Analysis (BHT), an independent market equilibrium research provider. Mark spent fifteen years as the head of trading at three different investment managers. From 2010 through 2016, he was the Head of Trading at Thomson, Horstmann and Bryant Inc., an investment advisor specializing in microcap equities. From 2005 through 2009, he was the Head of Trading at Lapides Asset Management LLC, a Greenwich, CT-based advisor and hedge fund.
From 1999 until 2005 Mark was the Head of Trading and Chief Market Technician at Lombardia Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, Mark was a senior Equity Trader at SAC Capital, and a Market Maker at Gabelli & Company Institutional Brokerage. Mark holds an MBA degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. While there, he studied under Nobel Prize winning economist Robert Solow. Mark holds a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and has been a member of the CMT Association since 1999.
