Marcia Richardson holds the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation and currently works as a Senior Financial Advisor for Vanguard Group in Charlotte.  Prior to moving to Charlotte, Marcia was co-chair of Atlanta CMT Association Chapter.

She began her financial services career in the mid-1980s with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc. in Southern California. She earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1989.

During her career, she spent more than ten years as a trader, making markets in listed equities for several national broker/dealers.  In addition, she has worked for several years as an institutional investment manager and consultant.

She holds a BA from the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL.
