Gustavo Villa Velázquez Aldana, Chief Investment Officer, VVZ Capital
Gustavo has been involved in the financial markets since 1996, first as an equity analyst in Scotiabank Casa de Bolsa and later as a financial advisor in the same group. He obtained some experience in Public Finance during the years 2001-2002 as Director of Finance in the “Gobierno de Jalisco”. He worked in Citi-Banamex as wealth manager and investment strategist for 12 years. Since 2015 he has been working as the Chief Investment Officer and managing partner in VVZ Capital, Independent Investment Advisors.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance by Universidad Panamericana, a Master’s in Finance by ITESM, took a management executive program at IPADE and has completed the 3 levels of the CMT program. Gustavo has been professor in Universidad Panamericana teaching multiple finance courses and technical analysis of the financial markets.
Gustavo is a founding Co-Chair of the CMT Association Mexico Chapter.
