Austin Harrison is an investment strategist and senior equity research analyst at a Missouri-based advisory firm. In 2019, he started Means to a Trend, a blog dedicated to identifying both fundamental and technical trends in financial markets. He employs a weight-of-the-evidence approach to his research, focusing on the macroeconomic environment, intermarket relationships, and relative strength to identify investment opportunities.

A proud alumnus of Benedictine College, Austin’s formal education centered on accounting, finance, and economics. After graduation, he worked toward earning the CFA and CMT charters, both of which he attained in 2019. The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation is a globally recognized, graduate-level credential that provides the strongest foundation in advanced investment, analysis, and real-world portfolio management skills.
