Andrew Taylor

Andrew Taylor is a certified GDPR Practitioner and Data Protection Officer at Bronzeye IBRM, which he founded in 2012. For several years, he has been working on creating a solution for Information Security for smaller enterprises that do not have the scale and deep pockets to drive interest from large vendors. While not ignoring technical threats and technical solutions, Bronzeye IBRM’s key focus is on the human elements of the risk to an enterprise’s data security. This is because until that risk is managed down, there is little likelihood that automated solutions will, on their own, be able to provide sufficient protection to data.

Andrew spent 26 years in the British Military, 7 years in the Grenadier Guards, and 19 years in Military Intelligence. Upon leaving the Army in 1998, he worked with several investment banks where he designed and ran a successful intelligence operation dealing with open source market information relating to event driven situations.
